Breka, Adventure Dog Winner!
Adventure Dog Winner Breka was an "Adventure Dog Winner" at The Learning Dog Academy! Her accomplishments include mastering all levels of Manners, Advanced Rally, and Tricks. Breka's owners, Chris and Tom Woods started her off right! From the very beginning, they spent time learning to communicate with Breka, teaching her skills and practicing with consistency. Breka is 3 years old now and is from our "B" litter. We are super proud of her!! School Time!Let the fun begin! Tomorrow the puppies are moving to the living room, from the bedroom where they were born and spent the first 4 weeks of life. They will be starting their advanced puppy curriculum and I thought I was busy before, lol! Their area will be doubled to 4 x 8 by connecting two whelping boxes together. They are doing pretty well at using the litter box, so far. They have also experienced short crate times all together. We have been helping Amber by feeding them puppy formula individually from a bowl twice a day but now they will start eating mush. This next week is when I will really get to know them. They have experienced many sounds and items left in their whelping box, now they are ready for school. I will be evaluating each puppy as I get to know them to help match them to their best family. Pick DayJune 2nd is pick/match day and is just a week away. Everyone on the pick list can expect to hear from me multiple times next week. I want to get you all of the information that I am gathering on each puppy to help with this very important decision. Merry Christmas!! We celebrate Christmas with our family on Christmas Eve, so today is a quiet day here, just us and the dogs. Okay, maybe it's not so quiet, lol. Today I can take the time to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas and thank God for the gift of Jesus, my Savior! I also want to wish a Merry Christmas to all Kindred Spirits puppies/dogs, their families and all of the readers of this newsletter. I truly hope everyone enjoys family and friends, including their fur babies today....
Happy Howl-loween Halloween is not a holiday that we celebrate, but I hope that anyone reading this newsletter that does had a safe and fun Halloween!
